Our Story
Peter Duffy Furs has been a family-owned and operated fur business since 1953. We have a beautiful, fashion-forward, ready-to-wear selection, and we also offer a comprehensive range of custom-made furs in New York. The majority of our fashions are fabricated in our workshop on the premises. Over the years, we have expanded our line to include all types of fur outerwear, shearlings, cashmere, leather goods, accessories, etc.

Our founder, Peter Duffy, started his career delivering telegrams to the fur district. After years of experience, he worked his way up to ultimately becoming a knowledgeable fur salesman. Establishing his own furrier company in the early 50s, Mr. Duffy became famous for his remarkable and pleasant personality.
